About This Role

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial management of our organization. You will be responsible for accurately tracking revenue, managing payments, and maintaining accounts receivable records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing System Management: Maintain and update the billing system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Sync data with accounting software to facilitate seamless financial transactions.
  • Invoicing and Documentation: Generate invoices, credit notes, and account statements in a timely manner.
  • Verify and accurately post all payments to the corresponding invoices.
  • Provide customers with necessary support documents and address their queries.
  • Reconciliation and Month-End Reporting: Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure ageing is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  • Daily cash management duties, including recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
  • Perform analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R to provide insights to management on collection efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer in a similar role.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Excel and accounting software XERO and Cin7 would be advantageous.
