Job Title: Diplomatic Protocol Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diplomatic Protocol Officer to join our team at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. As a key member of our protocol team, you will be responsible for facilitating the international arrival and departure of foreign senior visitors, including Deputy Heads of State or Government, Ministers, and other high-ranking officials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with key stakeholders to coordinate visit details and ensure a smooth arrival and departure process.
- Facilitate customs, immigration, biosecurity, and security screening processes for each principal.
Requirements:
- Experience in airport operations and/or protocol work is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills, confidence, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
