Customer Service Representative

- As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle all incoming customer calls across areas - Customer Service, Sales, Credit etc.
- You will also do the back-end work, investigating complaints and calling back customers with any follow-up requests and resolutions as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to understand their energy usage needs.
- Provide advice and guidance on ways to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Manage customer accounts and resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
- Negotiate payment plans and payment schedules.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding to build rapport with customers.
- Record and track all customer interactions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Promote and sell energy products and services.
Requirements:
- Excellent voice and communication skills.
- High level of customer centricity.
- Ability to engage in conversations with customers.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ownership of resolution and ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with energy products and services is a plus.
