Freight Delivery Specialist

As an operations courier, you will play a vital role in safely transporting road freight using the most cost-effective route while providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Deliver packages across metropolitan and regional areas.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Inspect packages for damage or faults and notify management accordingly.
- Utilize equipment to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Protect freight during transit to prevent movement and damage.
- Meet punctual completion of runs to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Obtain recipient signatures to confirm delivery.
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver's license for a two-axle rigid vehicle.
- Good driving record with minimal traffic infringements.
- Proficiency in operating various loading equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide superior customer service.
