Event Host Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Event Host to join our team. As an Event Host, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by greeting guests, seating them as required, and providing food and beverage service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet guests, seat them as required, and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Ensure responsible service of alcohol to all guests
  • Set up and pack down of events, including table settings, staging requirements, and venue theming
  • Provide food and beverage service to a delegated area or table

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment
  • Your own transport as public transport is not available in the evenings
  • Experience in event and banquet hosting, with knowledge of food safety and bar operations
  • Fine dining and waiting experience is an advantage
  • Able to work on any day, including weekends, school holidays, and nights
