Job Opportunity

Key Challenges:

  • Operate a prime mover with various trailers including gravel trailers, water trailers and floats.
  • Load, haul and tip gravel from quarries to road construction and maintenance projects throughout the region.
  • Fill water trailers (various combinations from rigid to road train) for road construction and maintenance projects throughout the region.
  • Transport various items of road construction and maintenance plant and machinery between relevant sites throughout the region.

Essential Requirements:

  • A current Queensland Multi Combination Vehicle Licence.
  • A Statement of Attainment or Ticket for Loader or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to load and unload plant or ability to obtain.
  • A General Construction Induction Card.
  • Willingness to work in a rural job site environment.
  • Experience operating a prime mover in a multi combination configuration.
  • Ability to operate within a remote camp environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulator regulations.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
