About the Company


Fuse Recruitment is currently searching for an experienced Construction Product Underwriter to join the construction arm of a large global broking platform.


The role involves day-to-day construction product underwriting within the limitations of company policy and in accordance with underwriting Australian standards.


Key Responsibilities



  • Ensure all documentations are accurate
  • Work with other stakeholders to maximise underwriting opportunities, minimise expenses and achieve operations and service targets
  • Maintain and develop key broker relationships and maintain exceptional customer service
  • Process and document issuance of new business, renewals and endorsements ensuring all interactions are performed in an efficient & effective manner
  • Contribute and execute of Underwriting Strategy
  • Support the leadership team with mentoring junior team members

About You


To be considered for this role, you will require:



  • Tier 2 accreditation
  • Prior Australian underwriting experience in Construction, Property, Risk OR Liability
  • Exceptional all-round relationship building, time management and communication skills
  • If you have 3 + years' experience in Construction Underwriting (Or similar specialist products), you may be fast tracked to interview
  • You must be driven and have the drive to grow alongside an ambitious business
