About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product and Underwriting Manager to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. As a key member of our Technical Solutions team, you will be responsible for the profitability, underwriting, and oversight of our Financial Lines portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and standards for Financial Lines products
  • Manage underwriting authority licenses and accreditations
  • Ensure product quality and standards are met
  • Develop and maintain rating and pricing tools
  • Provide underwriting governance and assurance
  • Act as a technical expert for Financial Lines products
  • Build and maintain underwriting capability across the organization
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in technical underwriting for Financial Lines
  • Deep knowledge of Financial Lines products and exposures
  • Experience in policy drafting for Financial Lines products
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable growth in Financial Lines
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Commercial acumen and decision-making skills
  • Ability to create a positive working environment
