About This Role

At a global leader in automated fare collection and transit analytics solutions, we're seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our commercial department, you'll play a vital role in supporting financial strategic analysis, bid modelling, enterprise risk management, and ad-hoc commercial analysis.

As a Commercial Analyst, you'll be responsible for conducting financial analysis and modelling to inform operational decisions. You'll assist with budget preparation and analysis, providing valuable insights to support business development initiatives. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will enable you to deliver high-quality results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions.
  2. Assisting with budget preparation and analysis.
  3. Providing financial analysis services for traditional business segments and supporting large projects and contracts.
  4. Supporting business development initiatives through detailed financial modelling for bids and tenders.
  5. Cost-benefit evaluations and ad-hoc analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial pricing or a related field.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a finance discipline, with CA or CPA qualification or part-qualification.
  • Outstanding commercial and financial skills, including grasp of pricing models.
  • Experience in financial modelling and business analysis.
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with ability to undertake research, prepare reports, and provide strategic advice.
  • High-level interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with ability to build and manage relationships.
