About the Role:

We are seeking a professional to provide strategic leadership and guidance for our Residential Care and Specialised Support team in Rockhampton.

The successful candidate will oversee strong service delivery, program development, case management practice, ensuring compliance with contracts, accreditation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including participants and service providers to ensure collaborative working practices.
  • Work closely with staff to develop an understanding of young people's needs based on knowledge of trauma, grief and loss, attachment, and child development.
  • Contribute to improving interventions in response to young people's needs by applying a therapeutic framework of practice.
  • Assist in creating a positive team environment to promote excellent communication among team members.
  • Advise and guide program staff on service agreements and anticipated outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Diploma qualifications in Social Services/Child Protection or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Quality Assurance systems including Human Service Quality Framework.
  • Experience in advising, coaching, and mentoring staff on practice and compliance issues.
