About the Role:
The Restoration Technician plays a vital part in delivering service excellence by performing restoration tasks. They maintain equipment and vehicles to high standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency that represents the best in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out and evaluate restoration activities, including water extraction, fire damage repair, equipment setup, and demolition.
- Loading, inventorying, and maintaining work vehicles with tools and supplies.
- Communicating safety hazards, findings, and equipment needs with supervisors.
- Developing restoration skills to enhance the company's reputation and career growth opportunities.
- Preparing work areas and setting up staging and equipment.
- Coordinating with management and team members for efficient operations.
- Performing cleanup and breakdown at job completion, leaving sites orderly.
- Developing expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights and in tight spaces.
- Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying.
- Ability to work with cleaning agents.
This is a full-time role with potential for long hours, evening, and weekend work. Travel is mainly local, with some out-of-area and overnight trips possible.
