Rehabilitation Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate rehabilitation professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of others by helping people recover from injuries and return to work.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of rehabilitation cases within our Best Practice Rehabilitation Framework. You will provide expert advice and guidance to our claims team to ensure that customers receive the best possible outcomes.

You will also contribute to the development of wellbeing initiatives and projects across the business, working collaboratively with other teams to achieve our goals.

This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of rehabilitation cases within our Best Practice Rehabilitation Framework.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our claims team to ensure that customers receive the best possible outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of wellbeing initiatives and projects across the business.
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve our goals.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A background in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counsellor, Physiotherapy, Injury Management or Registered Nursing.

- Experience working within a rehabilitation provider, clinical and/or claims environment.

- The ability to develop and implement rehabilitation programs in line with our Best Practice Rehabilitation Framework.

- A commercial understanding of a claims environment, claims management models and practices, and knowledge of life risk products.
