We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Anaesthetic Specialist to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital. Role DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and excellent service in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating actively in the effective function of the department and co-operating with other members in the provision of patient care.
- Providing clinical supervision to junior medical and other relevant staff within the unit/department.
- SUPPORTING LATEIBE REGIONAL HEALTH'S QUALITY, MONITORING AND IMPROVEMENT INITIATIVES.
- Supporting the hospital's teaching, research, and clinical governance programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in medicine and fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (or eligibility via the recognition of equivalent training pathway).
- Experience in teaching and research.
- Experience in obstetric anaesthesia, paediatric anaesthesia, and trauma.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $350,000-$420,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
