Solutions Architect

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Solutions Architect contract to support the development of a Data Hub integration platform.
The successful candidate will be part of the Integration team within Digital Solutions, responsible for delivering on the logical and physical solution architecture aspects for significant initiatives within the client, including the Human Capital Management System Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reviews and recommendations for solution architecture across enhancements to Human Capital Management solutions and related integration processes.
- Perform reviews and recommendations for the reduction of technical debt and transitions across private and public cloud platforms, systems, and modules.
- Perform reviews and assessments for transition to cloud-based solutions for some solutions.
- Perform recommendations for future technology directions.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience of at least five years in Solution Architecture, with a focus on ERP and related Human Capital Management on-premises/cloud/hybrid solutions, with complex levels of integration.
- Demonstrable and solid experience with solution architecture and practical implementation of stable, viable solutions suitable for the performance specified.
- Expertise in the production of roadmaps and patterns for new and existing solutions, with a focus on integrations, aligned with strategic plans to support efficient reuse of solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver multiple concurrent key initiatives.
- Demonstrated high levels of relationship, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Solid experience with TOGAF, ITIL, and Development Frameworks and associated Release and Change control methods, including operational transformation.
- Knowledge of developing trends in solution architecture and implementation recommendations.
- Ensures adherence to the appropriate standards of enterprise and solution architectures (corporate, industry, national, and international).
- Establishes assessment criteria for the appropriate selection of systems architecture components and coordinates design activities, promoting the discipline to ensure consistency.
- Leads the development of architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers, including Business teams and Development/Technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering Business Information Systems and architectural components, such as Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), over the Software Development Life Cycle, including their architecture, design, development, and delivery.
- Solid experience with ITIL and Development Frameworks and associated release and change control methods, including operational transformation.
