We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to female participants with complex behaviours. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, community access, personal care, and behavioural support.

You will work closely with participants to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) to ensure their well-being. Our team operates within a trauma-informed and person-centred framework, and we expect all staff to maintain this approach in their interactions with participants.

The role requires strong communication and de-escalation skills, as well as the ability to follow Behaviour Support Plans. If you have a Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent, we encourage you to apply.

Available Shifts

We offer consistent shifts with competitive hourly rates, as well as ongoing training and career development opportunities. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team environment.

The following shifts are available:

  • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Australian Driver's Licence & reliable vehicle (preferred)
  • Ability to follow Behaviour Support Plans & work within a trauma-informed approach
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills
