- Set clear, actionable goals to deliver strategic objectives within continuous improvement.
- Ensure areas of responsibility identify and implement best practices, meeting industry-leading standards and expectations.
- Effectively manage, track, report, and reallocate budget as necessary to optimize allocation across continuous improvement.
- Identify potential risks to continuous improvement and develop mitigation strategies, including programs and initiatives that address concerns proactively.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations, project management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role in operations, engineering, or capability leadership (or similar), preferably in a similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing, managing, or significantly contributing to continuous improvement programs and driving a culture of continuous improvement within a complex organization.
- Demonstrated project planning and management experience (formal qualifications preferred).
- Strong understanding of the shipbuilding/defense sector, including knowledge of current trends, practices, technologies, and regulatory environment.
