Job Opportunity: Lead Digital Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned digital analytics professional to lead our team and drive strategic insights.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in digital analytics, data science, or economics, with expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools.
Key Responsibilities:

This role involves embedding analytics as a core capability in digital product delivery, driving deep insights that shape our digital experience, and leading a high-performing team.

  • Drive insights that shape digital experience, optimise conversion, and support business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing digital analytics team and provide guidance to data analysts working within the Digital Experience domain.
  • Embed analytics as a capability in digital product delivery, influence roadmaps, prioritisation, and optimisation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, UX, marketing, and technology teams to align analytics with shared outcomes.
  • Evaluate data quality and governance, oversee tracking, tagging, and measurement standards across digital platforms.
  • Translate data into action, using storytelling and visualisation to present insights and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Shape strategic direction, manage the analytics roadmap, and represent member needs in platform planning.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A natural leadership style, ability to inspire and empower others, build strong relationships, and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience in digital analytics.
  • Google Individual Qualifications and technical proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools.
  • Significant experience in digital or data analytics within complex or multi-brand environments, with a strong grasp of web and app behaviour analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Excel, familiarity with Python or R is a bonus.
  • A solid understanding of segmentation, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, with strong data storytelling and visualisation skills tailored to diverse stakeholders.
