About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will work collaboratively with our Local Customer Partners to identify new business opportunities and support them and their customers. You will be required to drive sustainable revenue and profitable growth within a team of partners, establishing relationships and leading the Team Global Express brand with SME businesses across Australia.

The role has two main focuses: leading business development and account management functions for your team of partners. This role will play a part in building an exciting new channel for TGE in their state and across the country.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with all partners/customers in the allocated area
  • Assist in building sustainability through revenue growth and profitability management initiatives
  • Meet and exceed the target in revenue, contact rates, new business target & conversion to trade
  • Identify, qualify & sell small to large business opportunities.
  • Help build a robust pipeline of opportunities for the assigned territory
  • Coach partners how to drive sales in their area
  • Represent the client's needs to internal stakeholders, influencing services offerings.
  • Establish customer-centric approach around issues and negotiation of sales agreements
  • Represent Enterprise solutions to the client, by identify/driving sustainable and profitable revenue.
  • Maximise opportunities within the assigned cohort of customers worked on for Team Global Express.
  • Enhance the Team Global Express brand reputation within the cohort of customers targeted.
  • Role model team behaviours.
  • Lead, through influence to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
About You

We are looking for a proactive Sales professional who is looking for a new challenge. Ideally, you will have come from an Account/Sales Management background, but we are open to candidates with a passion for sales and a strategic mind. You will have a strong customer-centric approach and enjoy building strong relationships. If you have a winning mindset and a desire to have fun, this could be your perfect role.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Prior logistics experience is not required but could be advantageous
  • Exemplary communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Professional phone & in person manner
  • Comfortable to upsell & cross sell to clients
  • Able to conduct professional and commercial conversations with B2B & B2C clients
  • Confident in working to KPI's/ Targets
  • Experience and passion for customer/client services
  • Strong business development and sales experience
  • Previous experience and proven success in developing new markets
  • Great interpersonal skills and able to build and manage strong customer relationships.
  • Presentation, negotiation & persuasion skills with the ability to promote the company and influence others.
  • Proactive determined business hunter.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and take initiative.
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
