Technical Automation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our automation efforts, overseeing the daily operations of key platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This role requires strong technical expertise, including hands-on experience with C#, SQL Server, and Azure administration and development.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing IT platforms and services in an enterprise environment, with excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily BAU operations of key platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors to support platform usage, resolve incidents, and respond to service requests.
- Coordinate minor enhancements and updates, ensuring resource utilisation and deadlines are met.
- Support project delivery by overseeing solution design, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Conduct platform risk assessments and implement remediation strategies to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase automation, reduce manual processes, and enhance system performance.
- Perform capacity planning, license forecasting, and health monitoring across platforms.
- Provide mentoring and technical leadership to junior team members and offshore teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, SQL Server, and Azure administration and development.
- Proven experience in managing IT platforms and services in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support both BAU operations and project-based work simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM), compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of compliance, data governance, and auditability in enterprise platforms.
