Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Disability Support Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans that address their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and goals
- Develop and implement tailored plans to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on adaptive techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track client progress

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility to register upon graduation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disability
