Enterprise Cloud Data Solutions Architect

The Senior Enterprise Cloud Data Solutions Architect will design and deliver scalable cloud data solutions for high-stakes banking and telco transformations across ASEAN & Australia.

  • Develop and implement efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval strategies.
  • Maintain and enforce data security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on data governance, data sharing, encryption, and security requirements to optimize data pipelines for performance and cost.
  • Manage data integration across systems and provide detailed documentation on source system integration, downstream dependencies, risks involved, and mitigation plans.
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup plans, ensure data quality, and introduce the data quality framework.
  • Monitor and tune data systems for efficiency and lead data migration and modernization projects.
  • Assist customers in learning and utilizing AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift.

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT platform implementation within a technical and analytical role.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Lake and AWS-based platform implementation.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and performance tuning AWS services and modern tech stack.
  • Proficiency with one or more relevant tools (AWS Glue, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Zookeeper, AWS Lake Formation, Parquet, EMR).
  • Experience with one or more SQL-on-Hadoop/AWS technologies (Hive, Spark SQL, Athena, Redshift Spectrum).
  • Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Scala).
