Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tendering and overseeing construction projects, including new builds, restorations, and conservation works.

The role involves analyzing project labour, materials, and time requirements for accurate bidding, as well as maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, tradespeople, contractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates and project documentation, attending tender briefings, and submitting quotations and tenders by prescribed deadlines.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong technical and practical construction industry knowledge, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial/public sector estimating and tendering.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical and practical construction industry knowledge
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial/public sector estimating and tendering
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Proficiency in estimating and construction management software
  • Degree or tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management (desirable)
