Job Description:
This role involves the daily operation and maintenance of the Clarence Coal Handling & Preparation Plant. As a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and acting on workplace hazards, maintaining a safe work environment, and operating and maintaining CHPP facility and associated plant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold a Mechanical trade certificate;
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current Coal Board Order 43 Medical;
- Have an up-to-date resume with contactable references;
- Have a proven understanding of the associated safety risks and hazards of a coal handling and processing plant or heavy industry environment;
- Have an unwavering commitment to safety and an attitude that drives a zero-harm workplace;
- Possess a positive 'Can Do' attitude and be team-focused.
Estimated Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this role is around $90,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
