Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in a strategic advisory role.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organisation, responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in policy development, stakeholder engagement and team management.

About You

  • You will have a proven track record of providing high-quality HR advice and services to stakeholders, with a focus on delivering strategic outcomes.
  • You will be able to lead the development of HR policies and procedures that meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships both internally and externally.
  • You will be able to manage multiple priorities with quality and attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will have experience managing small teams and be able to provide guidance and support to employees at all levels.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a government environment or similar, with knowledge of government legislation, policies, procedures and systems, particularly related to human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing HR advice and outstanding customer service across a diverse organisation.
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities with quality and attention to detail.
