Trolley Collection and Maintenance Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trolley Collection and Maintenance Associate to join our team at Woolworths. As a Trolley Collection and Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets, using a vehicle to transport them back to the store. You will also be responsible for maintaining the trolleys, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use by our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle
  • Maintain trolleys, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use by our customers
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • Perform cleaning and waste disposal tasks as required

Requirements

  • Hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International Licence
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
