About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our Building Certification team at City of Ryde. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert building surveying services across a diverse range of building Certification and Compliance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate building-related complaints and respond to customer requests
  • Manage any arising prosecutions and provide expert technical advice
  • Work autonomously and showcase technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or similar
  • Registration with the NSW Department of Fair Trading as a Building Surveyor or Registered Building Inspector working towards Building Surveyor
  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess fire upgrade reports and alternative building performance solutions
