Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Director to lead our Employee and Industrial Relations function in the Oceania region. This is a parental leave cover contract until January 2027, providing an exciting opportunity for strategic growth and development.

  • This senior leadership role will shape and drive our ER/IR strategy during a period of major business transformation, growth and optimisation.
  • You will take ownership of all industrial and employee relations matters, partnering with senior leaders across the business to deliver consistent, legally sound, and values-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage complex industrial relations matters, including litigation, disputes, industrial action, and engagement with external bodies.
  • Provide strategic ER advice and guidance to senior leaders, particularly during organisational change and business transformation.
  • Collaborate with operational and technical teams on critical industrial relations issues, including consultation on multiple projects.
  • Oversee employee relations matters, including policy development, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Develop and embed ER/IR frameworks that reflect legislative updates and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead and mentor a team of ER/IR professionals in the Oceania region to achieve consistent strategic outcomes.
