Financial Services Expertise Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Sydney, as a key member of our APJ Industries Team. You will be responsible for driving go-to-market initiatives and building deep capability and capacity through strategic industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional FSI partner strategy to expand, build, and grow a set of regional partners with industry specialization.
  • Be the industry thought leader, sharing insights on business trends and growth areas, including AWS focused partner capability and capacity.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with diverse FSI focused Partner cohorts, including CXO-level connects with customers and partners.
  • Evangelize the build and execution of strategic business plans with each industry partner, through close collaboration with AWS Industries and Sales teams.
  • Work with new and existing strategic partners (across GSIs, SIs, ISVs) to expand AWS Industry practice by building offerings and solutions.
  • Drive scale through incorporation of best practices and repeatable mechanisms across APJ customers.

About You:

Deep Financial Services industry background, consulting experience, or other relevant expertise that enables you to engage at the CXO level is essential. Strong technical acumen, working knowledge of the FSI consulting services landscape, and ability to think strategically about new business models, solutions, and partner engagement are required. Prior solution build and program successes, as well as 10+ years industry work experience, including a Line of Business (LoB) leadership role within a FSI organization, are preferred.
