About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at HUDSON. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the preparation of concept and schematic designs for a variety of structures, overseeing the project from concept through to site completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of concept and schematic designs for a variety of structures
  • Overseeing the project from concept through to site completion
  • Undertaking detailed analysis, design computations, and overseeing preparation of documentation
  • Peer review of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts
  • Co-ordination of designs with other project team consultants, architects, and clients
  • Financial oversight of projects under your direction
  • Developing and maintaining a schedule for assigned work scope and associated deliverables
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions
  • Maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends and technology in structural engineering
  • Provide leadership and technical direction for engineering elements of projects undertaken by the company
About You
  • Worked previously in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • A proven track record of successful planning, concept and detailed designs of varied projects
  • Strong technical skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and nurture internal and external relationships
  • Experience working within a challenging environment
