The Opportunity

The Service, Administration & Support (SAS) division encompasses several key areas: Administration, Service, Quality, Development & Support, and Business Improvement.

  • The Administration division includes teams focused on Maintenance, Payments & Insurance, and Money In.
  • The Services division comprises the Contact Centre, Communications, and Resolutions teams.
  • The Quality, Development & Support division consists of Quality Assurance, Training, and Support teams.
  • The Business Improvements division includes Business Improvement & Support and Process & Analysis teams.

SAS is responsible for managing Netwealth's Superannuation, Wrap Services, and Global Specialist Series products, serving as the primary contact for financial advisers, members, and investors.

As an integral member of the Insurance team, the Claims Specialist will focus on processing Insurance claims (Death, TPD, Terminal Illness, Permanent Incapacity, and Income Protection) by leveraging their technical knowledge and proven experience in a similar role within the Superannuation and Insurance sectors.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player, committed to daily operations, supporting colleagues by delivering exceptional service standards, contributing to knowledge development, and ensuring high-quality outcomes while maintaining customer satisfaction within established service level agreements.

The ideal candidate will possess the skills to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the organization, Insurance partners (AIA, TAL & Zurich), and legal representatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participating in Insurance Decline Review Group (IDRG) meetings, assisting in the preparation of reports for management, representing Netwealth, engaging with third parties, and serving as the subject matter expert on Insurance processes and procedures while proactively seeking improvements in efficiency and effectiveness to enhance customer service.

About You

  • Demonstrated understanding of current SIS legislation regarding the handling of Death claims and familiarity with Superannuation Trust Deeds (advantageous but not essential).
  • Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strong experience in managing multiple conflicting priorities.
  • A collaborative team focus aimed at achieving collective and organizational goals.
  • Ability to identify key issues and proactively devise solutions.
  • Aptitude for self-management to deliver on agreed outcomes and timelines.
