About the Role

Hatch is seeking a highly skilled Master Power Systems Engineer to join its team of experts in the energy sector. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and power system analysis, with experience in coordinating studies and planning electrical connections.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Additionally, they will be familiar with policies, guidelines, and regulations related to the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM) and other jurisdictions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and coordinate power systems analysis and studies
  • Perform generator planning/feasibility assessments and connections
  • Prepare briefing notes, discussion papers, and presentations
  • Manage projects, create business relationships, prepare proposals, and support business development
  • Innovate and show initiative in learning and sharing knowledge with colleagues
  • Participate in and lead young engineers' forums through engagement in professional activities in the region
