Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Junior Product Manager to join our team in the Womenswear department. This role will support the Product Manager in all aspects of the buying process, including understanding the brand's target market and assisting with the design and selection of commercial product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the buying team senior managers to build and execute seasonal ranges from the ground up.
  • Manage the garment development process, including the selection of fabric, trims, block colors, and prints.
  • Develop buying plans that engage our customers.
  • Benchmark our competitors to continually inspect and optimize our product range.
  • Research trends, product innovation, and competitors.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to deliver value for money, quality products that achieve product margin targets.
  • Liaise with direct suppliers across multiple countries.
  • Manage the critical path and production plan.
  • Achieve budgeted sales and margin through continuous review of performance, market opportunities, and product trends.
  • Review performance and future range inspirations to proactively drive the brand's competitive edge.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven buying and product development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing production and the critical path.
  • Experience in dealing with direct vendors across multiple geographies.
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Confident in understanding budgets and margin calculations.
  • Adaptable approach with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Adobe Illustrator proficiency.
