As a Occupational Health and Safety Professional, you will play a critical role in supporting the Health, Safety and Training Manager in maintaining the USO Health Control Plan. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with health and hygiene requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and continuously improve the USO Health Control Plan
  • Provide support and advice to departments in relation to health and occupational hygiene matters
  • Coordinate injury management and rehabilitation programs
  • Review and update the Health Risk Assessment and other topic specific Risk Assessments
  • Develop and implement health promotion activities onsite
  • Coordinate pre-employment and periodic medicals including reviews
  • Maintain the occupational hygiene similar exposure group monitoring program
  • Monitor compliance with health and hygiene requirements, identify improvements, and implement treatment plans that address identified shortfalls to ensure compliance with legislation and the WHS Management System
