About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and drive business growth through effective event management and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality events and marketing outputs on time and in line with our brand values.
  • Develop and execute operational marketing plans, including social media scheduling, website updates, campaign execution, content creation, email marketing, and media liaison.
  • Plan and deliver MSIP's events programme, from initial enquiry to on-the-day coordination and follow-up, ensuring smooth logistics and excellent attendee experiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Experience in delivering operational marketing activities (e.g. social media, email marketing, website updates, content creation).
  • Experience in contributing towards the delivery of events.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and key marketing tools including Canva, Wordpress, and Business Suite.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven experience in event management, from planning to delivery.
  • Experience in leading on customer experience.
  • Knowledge of the innovation, technology, or sustainability sectors.
  • Experience working with external suppliers such as caterers, AV teams, and designers.
  • Knowledge of project management systems (e.g. Monday.com).
  • Graphic design or video editing skills.
About You

You will have 3-5 years' experience in events, marketing, or a combined role, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

This role requires flexibility to meet the needs of events and marketing activities, including occasional evening and weekend work.
