About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere and lead by example in creating a positive team workplace
  • Design and implement environments that stimulate learning, creativity, and social skills in children
  • Nurture effective relationships with families, school staff, and colleagues to establish a cohesive school community
  • Display expertise in managing diverse behavioral needs and build meaningful connections with children to cater to their individual requirements

Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or Teaching Degree or relevant field equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children is advantageous
  • You must reside in the Sunshine Coast Region and be willing to travel to work
  • First Aid Training Level HLTA0012 is required; training can be provided before commencement if necessary
  • Protection Training is mandatory; training can be arranged prior to starting
  • A current Working With Children Check (P status) is essential
