As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting the wellbeing and quality of life for our residents. This dynamic and rewarding position involves coordinating lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, their families, and staff members. You will work closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator to develop innovative and engaging programs that enhance the overall living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and implementing lifestyle programs that promote resident engagement and enjoyment;
  • Assisting the Lifestyle Coordinator in developing lifestyle programs;
  • Celebrating residents' birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions with dignity and respect;
  • Providing input during resident care assessments to ensure individualized and holistic care plans are developed;
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, facility team members, volunteers, and local community groups;
  • Maintaining accurate records of risk management and ensuring continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification;
  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar role;
  • Innate empathy for our residents and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
  • A confident team player with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • A thoughtful, compassionate, collaborative, fun, and positive approach with a creative flair.
