About the Role

CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing direct support to our clients in the Redcliffe and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support with personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, and other daily living activities.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Assist with transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and provide general assistance with mobility.
  • Contribute to domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to and from the Day Centre.
  • Engage in community activities, attend medical appointments, and participate in social and recreational activities with clients.

Requirements

  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
  • A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • A Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed
  • An iPhone with an iOS 13.0 or up operating system, or Android 5.0 or up operating system
