Receptionist Role Overview

The role of Receptionist at our dental practice involves being the first point of contact for patients and providing a warm welcome to everyone they interact with. You will manage patient appointments, maintain accurate records, and ensure effective communication with both patients and staff.

About the Position

This is a permanent full-time position that requires strong customer service skills and a focus on delivering high-quality care to our patients. As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating a positive experience for all patients, supporting quality patient care through exceptional service and a professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage appointment systems for consultation dentists and dental nurses
  • Maintain accurate patient records and accounts
  • Provide professional communication with patients, practice staff, and others involved in patient care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require demonstrated reception experience, competent working knowledge of different computer operating systems, and motivation to learn. Strong communication, organisational, and multitasking skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a dental reception or similar administrative position
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software systems (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of dental procedures and general dentistry accreditation standards
