About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Course Writer to join our Higher Education team at Chisholm Institute of TAFE. As a Course Writer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of our students and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs that align with the Higher Education Standards Framework and industry standards.
  • Plan and implement effective teaching and learning strategies that engage learners and promote student success.
  • Design and develop learning materials and resources that meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to develop and deliver innovative educational programs that meet the current and emerging needs of higher education students and industry.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching and learning policies and procedures that promote excellence in education.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline (Master, PhD) and demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to write courses that comply with the Higher Education Standards Framework and relevant industry standards.
  • Proven success in developing and delivering innovative educational programs to meet the current and emerging needs of higher education students and industry.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching and learning.
  • Proven track record in scholarly activity related to teaching and learning and discipline area.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a range of teaching and learning materials and resources that comply with quality standards and the Higher Education Standards Framework.
