Care Service Role
As a carer, you'll develop meaningful relationships with residents and their families, understanding their needs and preferences during your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered care in accordance with care plans, promoting independence and dignity for all residents.
- Assist with medication administration and simple wound dressing under supervision.
- Support residents with activities, encouraging participation and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with residents to maintain their interests and hobbies.
Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to obtain Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Demonstrate exceptional listening skills, genuinely curious to understand people's needs and perspectives.
- Exhibit compassion-driven care practices, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
- Lead by example, rallying your team to problem-solve, connect, and overcome challenges together.
