Governance Transformation Opportunity

As a key architect of transformation, you will build frameworks, strengthen governance maturity, and embed a culture of integrity.

You will drive strategic governance and enterprise risk frameworks that lift organisational performance. You will oversee corporate documents, coordinate the Audit & Risk Committee, and deliver targeted internal audit programs.

A dedicated team will support you in delivering change that sticks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving strategic governance and enterprise risk frameworks to improve organisational performance
  • Overseeing corporate documents, including the Corporate Plan, Operational Plan, and Annual Report
  • Coordinating the Audit & Risk Committee and delivering targeted internal audit programs
  • Leading business improvement initiatives that achieve real, measurable impact

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Governance, Law, Risk, or Public Administration
  • A proven track record in governance, compliance, or business improvement, with exposure to local government
  • Sharp analytical and reporting skills, paired with the ability to interpret complex legislation
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder skills - you know how to build trust and influence
  • Genuine passion for public service and innovation
