About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Engineer to join our team at Fujitsu. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the management and maintenance of our ICT platforms.

Key responsibilities will include leading the design, administration, and maintenance of our end-to-end production and preproduction Centrelink mainframe environments. You will also be responsible for implementing, documenting, and automating new and existing technologies and products.

As a Senior Technical Engineer, you will provide expert advice to technical specialists and stakeholders and seek their cooperation in the provision of database administration. You will also influence peers to build systems that are easy to operate and scale on demand.

Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required for this role include Sterling, Data Power, API Connect, Java, JSON, JavaScript, Python, IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), DEVOPS, DB2, SQL, WebSphere, Unix, Bash, OpenShift/OpenStack, Automation, and containerization of SOA Platform Integration applications and services.

Mandatory Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience in the management of complex IT platforms and experience with Model 204.

Desirable qualities include demonstrated ability to shape strategic direction with high-level Relationship/Stakeholder management and communication skills, experience in system design in an IBM mainframe-centric environment, and demonstrated understanding of testing methodologies and the end-to-end system development life cycle.
