Role Description

This is a permanent full-time position offering advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the management of emergency and in-patient services.

The Clinical Nurse role will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring quality standards are met, and utilising staff and unit resources effectively to deliver optimal service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills in the management of emergency and in-patient services.
  • Coordinate staff and utilise unit resources effectively to deliver optimal service outcomes.
  • Ensure quality standards are met in patient care.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licence required.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted, including Criminal History checks.
  • ETEK triage competency or equivalent and current Advanced Life Support certificate required.
  • Position classified as VPD risk; evidence of vaccination/immunity to specified diseases may be required.
  • Probation period may apply.

Additional Information
  • Staff accommodation available (if eligible) or private rental subsidy of AUD$82.50 per week for up to 17 months.
