Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Support Coordinator to join our team in the South West and Western Sydney area.

The Support Coordinator will work with participants and their support networks to empower them to live their best life. This includes:

  • Implementing NDIS Plans within the context of the NDIS framework, mainstream and community services;
  • Identifying appropriate services and working with participants to achieve their goals;
  • Supporting participants within a person-centred framework with a think outside the box attitude;

The ideal candidate will have experience as a NDIS Support Coordinator or equivalent and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work independently and be an active part of our wellbeing teams.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 2-year experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator or equivalent;
  • Sound working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), rules and operational guidelines;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and provide a range of solutions to mitigate challenges, barriers, and risks with a focus on co-production with participants and stakeholders;

You will also need to possess excellent interpersonal skills that value individual and cultural diversity and a strong solution focus and the ability to think creatively outside of the box.

Others

This is a part-time, casual position with a pay rate of $40.00 - $45.00 per hour and expected hours of 25 - 35 per week. You will need to have a valid, unrestricted driver's licence and insured motor vehicle.
