Key Role: Senior Executive Officer

The NSW Crime Commission is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join the Legal and Confiscations Division in an ongoing full-time capacity.

This high-impact role involves collaborating with a talented Executive team, contributing across a diverse range of initiatives, and accelerating career growth through tailored development opportunities and meaningful challenges.

The successful candidate will provide high-level executive, secretariat, and strategic project support to the Assistant Commissioner, delivering expert advice, managing complex communications, and implementing key initiatives.

The role requires engaging with diverse stakeholder groups, undertaking strategic projects, and managing the flow of critical information to inform leadership team decision-making and drive progress toward organisational goals.

  • Provide secretariat services to the leadership team as required, including preparing and distributing papers, and minute taking.
  • Undertake highly sensitive and confidential work on behalf of the Assistant Commissioner, ensuring efficient executive-level support that aligns with business priorities.
  • Research, analyse, and prepare strategic advice, reports, and briefing materials on policy, planning, and operational issues to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage emerging issues proactively, providing timely advice and resolution strategies to minimise risk and ensure organisational responsiveness.

Security vetting is mandatory for this role, and applicants must be Australian citizens. The recommended candidates will need to participate in and secure appropriate security clearances by providing comprehensive details about their personal and financial interests and other relevant information.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong skills and experience relevant to high-level administrative tasks, project management, research, and policy development support complemented by relevant work experience.
