Store Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking a talented individual to lead our store team and drive business growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets
- Managing the store budget, including labor, inventory, and profit margins
- Building strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and service
- Maintaining high store standards, including stock replenishment, visual displays, campaigns/promotions, and merchandising
- Focusing on customer satisfaction through product and store experiences
- Recruiting, onboarding, and coaching new team members
- Rostering and managing your team through regular feedback, motivation, coaching, and development
- Providing a safe working environment and ensuring all staff adhere to safe working procedures
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Inventory management and adjusting stock levels to meet consumer demand and seasonal changes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous retail leadership experience with a strong desire to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a trusting team
- Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships via communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and organizational skills to delegate tasks and roles effectively
- Experience servicing both trade and retail customers and growing a business
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen, including understanding financial reports, inventory management, rostering, and controlling expenses
- A valid driver's license and the capacity to perform manual tasks
- Ability to handle conflict and work under pressuring timelines
- Ability to build a strong team, utilizing strengths and providing leadership where development is required
- Prior knowledge of the paint/surface coating industry would be advantageous
