Position: Retail Shop Manager (Retail Manager)

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 to $79,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Bacchus Marsh VIC 3340

Our client is a well-established fruit and vegetable store committed to providing fresh, high-quality produce to their customers. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to join their team and oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily store operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and supplier coordination.
2. Supervise and lead a team of staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation.
3. Monitor sales performance, implement promotional strategies, and maintain profit margins.
4. Handle staff rostering, recruitment, and training to optimize store efficiency.
5. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
6. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
7. Process financial transactions, manage budgets, and ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements:

1. Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher qualification
2. Minimum 12 months of experience as a Retail Manager
3. Must have prior experience in a fruit and vegetable store
4. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
6. Knowledge of inventory management, stock rotation, and waste minimization.
7. Proficiency in retail sales, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to seasonal demand.
