Machinery Specialist

A skilled Machinery Technician is required to undertake all servicing, repair, and upkeep of various machinery and equipment ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of machinery types.
- Conduct regular tests and inspections to verify machinery meets set standards.
- Record stock levels of materials and supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history.
- Monitor and improve equipment and processing efficiency where necessary.
- Manage spare parts inventory to maintain optimal stock levels in support of the processing department.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedure and legislation.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to achieve project expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a high level of cooperation related to service, cost, and productivity.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities for quality control purposes.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize workflow.
