Cellar Door Manager

This role oversees the daily operation of cellar door tastings and sales, providing an exceptional customer experience.

The Cellar Door Manager will create a welcoming environment for valued members and guests, recruit and manage staff, conduct training sessions, and manage events.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing wine stock, retail merchandise, and inventory control
  • Preparing daily/end-of-day reports
  • Maintaining relationships with local hospitality industry and community organizations
  • Collaborating with the management team

To succeed in this position, applicants must have:

  • A friendly nature with excellent guest interaction skills
  • A passion for wine and delivering seamless front-of-house experiences
  • Proven experience in team management, rostering, and reconciliation
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • The ability to sell premium wine products
  • An Australian Driver's license and RSA certification are required
  • Event management experience and WSET qualifications are desirable

This full-time position involves working on weekends. Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing work visa.
