Career Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team and support our clients with day-to-day and long-term supply roles in primary schools.

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teacher to work with children aged 4-5 years in a classroom or nursery setting. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Work with children between the ages of 4-5 in a classroom or nursery setting.
  • Work full or part-time hours, which can vary between 8-5pm.
  • Provide support to other personnel within the setting.
  • Help implement daily routines.
  • Be willing to support children who require one-to-one support.
  • Provide support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Be able to provide personal care.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science.
  • An undergraduate education degree or a degree in any subject and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) or professional graduate diploma in education (PGDE - Scotland).
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Previous in-school teaching experience.
  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.
